Social Media Assistant

Location: 📍Granville, NSW


Position Overview:

We are seeking an organised and forward thinking creative to join our team!

As the Social Media Assistant, you will be responsible for scheduling and managing our social accounts. You will need knowledge of the beauty industry, preferably nails but don’t let this limit you as a passion for beauty is utmost important.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and voice across platforms.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive online community.
  • Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely posting and scheduling of social media content.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute content strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Create, plan and schedule content across all platforms
  • Write compelling and engaging captions and copy that align with the brand’s voice.
  • Track and analyse social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of content strategies.
  • Edit visuals using photo and video editing software to enhance quality and maintain brand consistency.
  • Creating visually captivating email marketing campaigns (EDMs) that resonate with our target audience.  

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in marketing and social media content creation, preferably in the beauty or fashion industry.
  • Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms. Instagram and Tiktok.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics, ensuring high-quality and visually appealing content.
  • Knowledge of current trends in social media, digital marketing, and influencer marketing.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity, innovation, and a passion for the beauty industry.

Candidates with interest and experience in the following will be prioritised:

  • Graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva) or other similar software.
  • CapCut & Premiere Pro
  • Photography & Editing
  • Social Media Analytics
  • Reels
